Refund policy

At The Dutchess Hair Co., we take product integrity and hygiene seriously. For the safety of all customers and to maintain the highest quality standards, we only accept returns on unopened, unused, and unaltered products.


Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, all items must meet every requirement below:

  • Hair must be unopened and remain in its original packaging

  • Bundles must have all original ties, labels, and seals intact

  • Lace (closures, frontals, wigs) must be uncut, unplucked, untinted, and unaltered

  • Hair must not be brushed, combed, washed, dyed, installed, or manipulated

  • No odors (perfume, smoke, product, etc.)

  • Item must be returned within 7 days of delivery

If any of these conditions are not met, the return will be denied and the item will be shipped back to you.


Non‑Returnable Items

For hygiene and quality control reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used hair

  • Cut lace or altered wigs

  • Custom wigs

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Items marked “Final Sale”

  • Products showing signs of wear, manipulation, or tampering


Return Process

  1. Submit a return request through our Return Portal

  2. Once approved, you will receive return instructions

  3. Ship the item back using the provided address

  4. After inspection, eligible returns will receive a refund to the original payment method

Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the error was made by TDHC.


Refunds

Refunds are issued only after the product passes inspection. If the return is denied, the item will be shipped back to you.

Please allow 3–5 business days for refunds to appear after approval.


Exchanges

Exchanges are available for unopened items only. If the item is out of stock, a refund will be issued instead.

TDHC Reserves the Right to Refuse Returns

Any item that does not meet our return requirements will be returned to the customer without refund.
